J. S. S. Arts, Science and Commerce College, a pioneer educational institution is affiliated to the Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. It has a beautiful campus of 32 acres on the slopes of Mallikarjun Hill, very close to Basaveshwar circle. It is a multi-faculty college with nearly 1266 students, running 4 undergraduate and 4 postgraduate programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management. The college has well equipped science laboratories, library, computer laboratory and gymnasium. It has 16 departments supported by 51 well qualified, committed teachers, among them 23 are Ph.D. holders and 6 with M.Phil. degree. The college has produced many University ranks and blues. Our college staff is involved in research and popularizing Science through Wrangler D.C. Pawate Science Centre.
