GOKAK EDUCATION SOCIETY
Our
esteemed Gokak Education Society was established in 1965 by Shri Siddaram
Swamiji of Savalgimath, Shri Shivanand Swamiji of Aarabhavimath, Shri Pavadeppa
Swamiji of Mardimath and philanthropic people like Shri D.R. Jadhav, Shri B.S.
Munavali, Shri S.R. Patil, Dr. A.R. Kadkol, Dr. B.C. Ajari Dr. C.P.
Pattanshetti of Gokak, for the noble cause of disseminating knowledge. It
started its educational venture with J.S.S.Arts and Science College and has
grown into a multifaceted organisation imparting quality education in this
area.It is now managing Kannada and English medium Schools with a wide
playground; B.Ed. and BSW colleges; P.U.C., Degree and five PG courses along
with management courses.
